Hello, my name is Elizabeth Teets

Elizabeth Teets is Los Angeles based Oregon-born writer, comedian, and fashionista. Her work has appeared in Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Repeller, Catapult, Reductress, and more. She is the editor of the film anthology Isn’t She Great: Writers on Women Led Comedies from 9 to 5 to Booksmart, which was named a most anticipated book of 2024 by Nylon and Stylecaster. Her debut essay collection I Blame Television will be published by Read Furiously in 2026. As a comedian she has been featured in the Cream City Comedy Festival, All Jane Comedy Festival and the TBS National Comedy Competition. She lives in Los Angeles, where she is waiting for her group chat to respond.
